David Handschuh is a professional photographer, writer and educator with years of experience in the newsroom and the classroom who has been finding the unique in the routine for more than 30 years in New York City.

A three time Pulitzer nominee, Handschuh has been a photographer for the New York Daily News for more than 21 years. David’s award winning work has spanned the gamut from heart pounding, on the scene, breaking news images to acclaimed feature photo and lively portraiture to sumptuous, mouth -watering entrees.

David’s mission is to capture natural, spontaneous and complimentary images of life as it happens. Handschuh has worked with celebrities, authors, musicians and camera shy clients in a multitude of settings. His style emphasizes light, color and subtlety.
